At Nassau Racquet and Tennis Club, our mission is to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for players of all ages and skill levels. We strive to promote the sport of tennis and help our members develop a lifelong love for the game. Nassau Tennis Club is dedicated to providing the best tennis instruction to each and every player, whatever their ability or ambition. From beginning “Pee Wees” all the way up to serious tournament competitors, there is a group tennis lesson program available to meet your needs. Our group clinics focus on the development of physical, emotional and social skills.

Ages 5 ½ – 9
(1 Hour per Session)
Emphasis on hand-eye coordination development. Introduction to stroke FUN-damentals, basic court terms and Positions.
Ages 8 – 12
(1 Hour per Session)
Stroke production and mechanics. Development of movement and sustained shot combinations.
Ages 9 - 15
(1.5 Hours per Session)
Reinforce fundamental shots, introduce specialty shots, promote comprehensive point play. Competitive opportunities to develop strategy.

Taking the game to the "Next Level". Competitive development including drills, points, strategy and fitness.

(1.5 – 3.5 Hours per Session)
Honing competitive toolbox. Situational reaction, strategy implementation, stroke refinement. Interactive point construction drills. Match play.

The High School Hitting program is for current and aspiring high school junior varsity and varsity players. Focus is on technical skills development and matchplay strategy.
Looking for a fun, competitive way to keep your junior player active this fall? Nassau Tennis Club’s Junior Fall Matchplay Program is our newest program that runs on Sundays 4 PM - 5:30 PM.
Whether your child is just starting to compete or looking to take their match play to the next level, this program is designed to meet them where they are and help them grow.

A 24 hour notice for the class that will be missed is required to receive a Make-Up.
Absences must be made online.
1 Make-Up is allowed per session.
A Make-Up may only be used in the same session that you are reporting an absence.
